SHIFT is proud to release its 2017 annual report. The report details the contribution SHIFT projects have made towards enabling and empowering civil society communities to advocate for sustainable HIV financing, particularly in Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines, and Thailand.
The 2017 report showcases SHIFT’s regional and country-specific programmatic achievements in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines that have:
- enhanced the community’s capacity and technical skills to advocate for increased allocative efficiency and increased domestic HIV funding and;
- increased CSO access to and use of strategic information on HIV financing
- supported CSO advocacy for sustainable HIV financing in the four countries and in regional and international platforms.
Some of SHIFT’s Key achieves in 2017 include:
+ 19 Capacity building activities at national and regional level
+ 89 Community Advocates trained in HIV financing, The Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia
+2 New Budget analysis partners secured in Indonesia and the Philippines
+7 Studies conducted on regional and national HIV financing
+33 national and regional advocacy activities conducted
